RESULTS - Stableford Competition at Vintage on Saturday 26 April 2025

The results are in for the Stableford competition at Vintage and Geoff Wright has taken his place amongst the immortals to have finished overall first in a Londoner event. Congratulations Geoff, your 38 points saw you home by 1 in a close competition. Well done!

Flights A, B and C were won by Noi Waratworayon (37 points), Stefan Kuhn (37) and Peter Frank (34). Well done to them! The full leaderboard can be seen within the Old Events section of True Handicap and the list of technical prize winners and flight winners and runners-up is shown below:

In the 2025 Team Competition, the 4 Aces rode average scores and 1 runner-up finish plus volume of players to first place from Stingers then Firewalls followed by Dragons. This means 4 Aces have solo possession of first place in the league ladder once again.

The anticipated first inter-team match play comp of the season had to be postponed as too many players were unavailable so we will adjust the event calendar to accommodate this fun side game.

Registration is open for next 2 events:

• First, our quarterly Medal competition at Flora Ville Golf Club on Saturday 10 May, first tee time 11:04 
• Second, a 4-player Scramble event at Vintage on Saturday 24 May, first tee time 11:32.

Sign up on True Handicap as usual. For the Scramble event please let us know if you have arranged a team or anyone you want to be with and we'll do our best to sort out your preferences.

The club are also in action next Saturday (Saturday 3 May) in the annual match versus the British Club. The team is over-subscribed at the moment because we can only have as many players as the opposition. If you really want a game do register onto the wait list, you never know if circumstances mean you'll be required!
