RESULTS - Pairs Better Ball Competition at Floraville on Saturday 9 August 2025

An excellent day at a baked Flora Ville course. It was good to see water management in action - the fairways looked like those at the British Open - waiting for rain. Our Pairs comp went well with some excellent scores and good play and fun all round.

Taking the win were Neil Flanagan and Pepo Khanla, combining nicely to prevail on countback with 42 points from Suwat Bunrod and Noi Waratworayon. Just 1 point further back were Nicky Day and new member Pelle Grandin (welcome and congratulations).

As well as new member Pelle, we welcomed Alex Bask as a new member and sponsor. Alex and his partner led the players in a sample warm up before the game consisting of useful stretches. Great to have their support - We'll Golf - on Sukhumvit Soi 33/1 and all Londoner members get a free trial there before end September.

The technical prizes were awarded too and the winners are shown below with the leaderboard for the comp viewable in True Handicap under Old Events.
