RESULTS - Medal Competition (and Masters Day 1) at Floraville on Saturday 13 September 2025

Tough conditions yesterday at Flora Ville. Several weeks of rain and the pressure of Medal play plus the indignity of having to walk from the cart path to the ball all contributed to scores that didn't meet most players' expectations. There was a storm and a hours delay for lightning too. So difficult for scoring but this is the first part of our Masters - where entrance is earned via a win during the year and then 'mastery', if you will, has to be shown across 2 competition formats and 2 of our regular courses to take the prize - so a fitting challenge I think.

Rising above all others was Mike Muehleck who hit a serene patch of club swinging on his way to a net 72 that took the win by 2 shots. Mike takes a lead into Day 2 of the Masters for the second year in a row - can he manage the pressure this time?

Mike Muehleck (L) gets his prizes from club captain Phil Mulligan (R)

Flight winners were Ben Hemphill (net 74) and Paweena Baothong (net 78). The usual 3 flights were collapsed into 2 this time due to numbers. Full results are available on True Handicap (old events) and below:

Registration is now open for our Stableford competition at Vintage Golf Club on Saturday 27th September with the first tee time at 11:32.

Please sign up on True Handicap.

This event is open to all. It is also Day 2 of our Annual Masters competition as mentioned above. The leaders will be grouped together.
