RESULTS - Londoners Presidents Cup Weekend at Black Mountain 28/29 June 2025

We returned to Black Mountain once again and were treated once again to a fantastic weekend of golf. The course was in magnificent condition, the service was great (and there is no service charge added by default to bills) and the friendship and competition was great too. A credit to our members and all who help us.
At the end of 2 games of Stableford golf, captain Phil Mulligan (me) had claimed his 1st overall President's Cup victory. Together with my wins at our other individual major competitions (the Club Championship and the Masters), this surely makes up the self-declared Londoner Mulligan Slam). Enough about me apart from that I am tremendously proud once again of our society and the way we battled through good weather, windy conditions and a couple of short downpours.

The overall flight wins were taken by Noi Waratworayon (A), Andrew Stray (B) and Andy Shaw (C). Excellent performances all. The Day 1 winner was Gido van Mastrigt back from self-imposed exile, with the flights being won by Mark Adderley (A), BK Trapsirii (B) and Lynn Munday (C). Well done. The Day 2 winner was John Siena and thanks for making the booking arrangements with the course John, whilst the flights were won by Noi Waratworayon (A), Andrew Stray (B) and Suwat Bunrod (C). Great stuff again.
Full results are on True Handicap (in the Old Events section) and the more granular breakdown, including technical prize winners are shown below:

Phil
