2025 Order of Merit Tracker

Current Leaderboard
The standings of our 2025 Order of Merit competition after the 24 May competition are below.
End of May report - We are approaching half-way in our 2025 Order of Merit competition – how times flies 😊. Good wins in recent events from Geoff Wright, Nick Aylieff & Robert Gray have lifted them into contention in a packed leaderboard. Captain Phil has muscled his way into 3rd grabbing a winners medal in March and a runner up in May both at Floraville. Ben Hemphill after a blistering start to the campaign holds 2nd and the ultra consistent Noi is in 1st place by 4 points form Ben. A total of 77 Londoners members have OOM points. Anyone can still claim this most highly regarded prize of the calendar year.

Order of Merit 2025 Format Changes
We have already had a great start to 2025 golfing year with two well attended events at Floraville and The Vintage Club during January. Already everyone who attended those events has obtained some 2025 Order of Merit Points. It’s the Trophy in 2025 that everyone wants to win as it is always won by the best and most consistent Londoner golfer during the whole calendar year!
There are 3 key changes in point scoring for the 2025 Order of Merit to reward participation, loyalty to Londoner events and great golf!
- All Londoner events will qualify for your final OOM tally (versus historical 'best 16 events')
- Everyone who attends an event will get 1 point
- The top 10 at each event will receive the following point allocation: 1st = 20, 2nd = 15, 3rd = 12, 4th = 10, 5th = 7, 6th = 5, 7th = 4, 8th = 3, 9th = 2, 10th = 1. This is to ensure each event is given the same importance and the size of the field is removed as a contributing factor to final points tally.
We are still trying to secure prize sponsorship but the trophy itself (the coveted Crystal Trophy) is what everyone wants. Do step forward and talk to James Taylor-Alford, the brains behind the format changes, to sponsor the comp! 😊
So, take a look at the leaderboard at the top of this post and see where you are. We will be tracking via Excel spreadsheet for now and we will be asking True Handicap to adjust their competition formats to handle the way we are scoring this year.
