RESULTS - Stableford Competition at Floraville incorporating Inter-team Matchplay #1 on Saturday 9 March 2024

Congratulations to John Griffiths who smashed the field in yesterday's competition by scoring a fabulous 43 points and winning the event by a huge 8 points from the 2nd placed players. Well done John!

There were 42 players at the event and it was good to meet new member, Tony Rodriguez, welcome back Martyn Smith, Ole Petter Oksne, Fredrik Wilgotson and Matt Bartlett (aka Golf Sidekick - check out his YouTube channel) and greet guest, Brandon Wilson. 39 players took part in the latest installment of the 2024 Team Competition where Fireballs continued their great start to the season by taking a clear victory again from Stingers, then Dragons then 4 Aces.

It was also the first of the inter-team rivalry matchplays yesterday and these count additional points to the overall 2024 Team Competition. It is amazing to me how close each of the team matchplays have been, both yesterday and last year. No more than 2 points has separated the teams and yesterday was even closer. However, Fireballs prevailed over Dragons and 4 Aces prevailed over Stingers. Full Team scoring available on this page.
