A field of 43 players, depleted by several members attending the Annual England vs. Ireland drinking competition in Pattaya (the Sanook Cup), took on the Riverside course with slightly soggy fariways and slick greens. Some of the contigent went via the nearby Lakeside course first but made it in good time to win some technical prizes and we also saw some old friends joining us again and 3 new members. Several players shot underpar rounds with Hans Wagner just pipping Terry Davies on countback with very creditable net 69's. Welcome to flight B Hans!! Not before time either
